Brooklyn Goon Tries To Rob A Teen For His Coat At Gun Point And The Teen...
A video of a New York City teen went viral at the tail-end of last week, as the boy was captured on surveillance camera fighting off a would-be robber as he walked to school on Tuesday morning.
In the video, the 16-year-old is seen tussling with a Brooklyn mugger who approached the young boy and demanded his coat at gunpoint. The victim is stopped by the assailant and is seen pulling out his headphones to hear what is being said to him. At that point, the suspect--a Black man about 5-foot-10 wearing an olive green coat, a gray sweatsuit, and burgundy timberland boots, draws his gun.
The teen immediately responds by refusing the robber's demands and reaching for his weapon. He hits the man in the face and shoves him into a garbage pail before throwing him to the ground and wrestling him on the icy street.
The suspect fought back pistol-whipping the teenage boy a few times before running to his escape with the coat. According to police, the teen left the scene safely with just a few minor cuts to his face and head.
The 16-year-old victim was walking down 61st St. near 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst at around 7:50 am when the incident took place. He was wearing a Black Canada Goose coat which usually retail for about $800.
The suspect is still at large.
