Man Last Seen on Plenty of Fish Date Found Dead

Marty McMillian Jr., 22, was last seen leaving a date with a girl he met on the dating app, Plenty of Fish. He went missing in April and his car was found roughly a month later not far from where he was last seen. NBC Washington spoke with McMillian's grandmother Forlesia Cook who said, "He was a human being. He didn't deserve to be laying out there all that time like that, just thrown away like a piece of trash."

According to police reports, the 22-year-old was shot multiple times inside of an apartment before having his body dumped in a wooded area by the Suitland Parkway.

Police also say that the last person McMillan called before his disappearance was the woman he was supposed to go on a date with. However, she said she wasn't near her phone when he attempted to communicate. Authorities noted that McMillan's bank cards were used as well.

No arrests have been made.
